Sony has expanded their range of Bluetooth party speakers with three new models.
Joining the X-Series range and the flagship SRS-XG500 is the SRS-XG300, the SRS-XE300 and the SRS-XE200, all of which feature X-Balanced Speaker Units and Dual Passive Radiators for reduced distortion and better bass.
The XG300 is the baby brother of the XG500, keeping the same form factor with a cylindrical boom box shape, but with a smaller size. Despite being smaller, the new speaker boasts ‘club-like bass’ that makes it perfect for those wanting the ultimate party speaker, but more portability than the massive XG500 offers.
It also features ClearAudio+ audio processing that balances clarity and power and Live Sound Mode for additional volume and EQ that replicates concert stereo. It also has an echo-cancelling microphone for phone calls, and adaptive LED rings that move to the beat of your music.
It also has a 3.5mm aux port for non-Bluetooth devices and a USB-A port for charging your phone.
Even more impressive is that battery life sits at 25 hours, only 5 hours less than the XG500, while an IP67 protection rating means sand and water won’t kill it. Beach party anyone?
The XE300 and XE200 offer a more portable, standing form factor, with just as much party potential. While volume is lower than the bigger models, these two speakers still feature speakerphone capabilities with echo cancelling microphones, a battery life of 24 hours and 16 hours respectively and improved durability, adding shock protection to the IP67 rating. All of this also fits easily in a backpack alongside all your other party needs.
Fancy the entire range? Sony’s PartyConnect feature wirelessly syncs up as many X-series speakers as you can handle (up to 100 devices), maximizing volume and party vibes.
The XG300 is available for pre-order for $479, whilst the XE300 and XE200 are available for pre-order for $319 and $249 respectively.
