Smeg Appoints New Head Of Marketing
Appliance brand SMEG, has appointed a new head of marketing following a major shake-up at the Italian cooking gear Company who is looking to grow sales in 2018, at thee top end of the cooking appliance market.
Replacing Tamara Buchanan, a 10-year veteran at Smeg, is Olivia Anderson the former Interim head of marketing at Fisher and Paykel.
According to Buchanan she is looking to move away from working in the appliance category.
Prior to taking on the senior marketing role at Fisher & Paykel which is now owned by Chinese Company Haier Anderson was a senior brand manager.
She also lectured in marketing fundamentals for the financial accounting associate degree as well as market research and Small Business Management units at the Business Studies faculty at TAFE.
Anderson takes up her position at SMEG from the 1st of May 2018.
