Crest Go Ballistic, Drop Philips

Crest Go Ballistic, Drop Philips Distributor to drop Philips headphones, adds US brand Ballistic, as it announced new strategic direction and expansion in  2014.

Following a review of current operations, from 1st January 2014, Crest will no longer be the authorised distributor for Philips headphones from WOOX Innovations, a subsidiary of Royal Philips N.V. in Australia.
The Queensland-based distributor says it has taken a step forward in the next stage of its evolution by securing distribution rights for a series of new brands.

The expansion includes adding a globally renowned range of travel accessories, a design-focussed portable audio range and leading edge new product development from within Crest’s own brand portfolio.
Crest will be stocking range of mobile protection cases from Ballistic from early 2014. The brand makes cases for HTC, Nokia, iPhone and Samsung devices.
The company is looking to “dedicate its resources behind innovative brands that bring excitement and deliver new category growth to our Australian retail partners in the long term,” it said today.
Mike Edgson, Sales & Marketing Director said he is “excited by the plans that we have developed to bring diversification and sustainable growth in the next stage of the Crest business journey.”
Crest Electronics develops, markets and distributes more than 600 Entertainment Technology Accessories & Homewares products to over 3000 retail partners throughout Australia & New Zealand.
