Sennheiser Unveils GSP 350 Gaming Headset
Sennheiser has taken the wraps off its closed-back GSP 350 gaming headset, decked out with Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
Providing “a best-in-class acoustic seal”, sporting memory foam ear-pads, ensuring “excellent passive noise attenuation of external sound”, the GSP 350 also features a hinged and adjustable split headband, inspired by aviation headsets, reducing pressure for enhanced comfort.
Sennheiser’s software interface provides four equaliser settings, delivering optimised modes for gaming, an eSports mode, an “Off” setting, providing for a neutral sound performance, and a music mode.
The GSP 350 is also equipped with a broadcast-quality, noise-cancelling microphone, minimising background noises and breathing sounds, which automatically mutes by raising the boom arm.
“This new headset is one of the first products in our all-new gaming portfolio, a range designed from the ground up to be the ultimate accessories for optimising the performance and experience of gamers,” Andreas Jessen, Sennheiser Communications product manager gaming, commented.
“Whether through the incredibly accurate sound that places you deeper in the game and provides the enhanced spatial awareness you need to compete, or through ergonomics that allow you to react in a heartbeat – the GSP 350 offers a winning combination.”
Coming supplied with a detachable cable for PC, the GSP 350 will be available from January, priced at $219.95 RRP, with an optional accessory cable for stereo use with Mac, consoles, mobiles and tablets also available separately.
