Sennheiser has taken the wraps off its closed-back GSP 350 gaming headset, decked out with Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
Providing “a best-in-class acoustic seal”, sporting memory foam ear-pads, ensuring “excellent passive noise attenuation of external sound”, the GSP 350 also features a hinged and adjustable split headband, inspired by aviation headsets, reducing pressure for enhanced comfort.
It comes with an intuitive volume control on the right ear-cup, while a Surround Dongle for PCs allows users to toggle between stereo and Dolby surround sound.
Sennheiser’s software interface provides four equaliser settings, delivering optimised modes for gaming, an eSports mode, an “Off” setting, providing for a neutral sound performance, and a music mode.
The GSP 350 is also equipped with a broadcast-quality, noise-cancelling microphone, minimising background noises and breathing sounds, which automatically mutes by raising the boom arm.

Coming supplied with a detachable cable for PC, the GSP 350 will be available from January, priced at $219.95 RRP, with an optional accessory cable for stereo use with Mac, consoles, mobiles and tablets also available separately.
