Ninja’s Viral SLUSHi Twist Heads To Australia With Two Frozen Drinks On Tap

Ninja is bringing its latest frozen drink maker to Australia, with the new SLUSHi Twist offering two independently prepared frozen drinks from a single machine.

The Ninja SLUSHi Twist Frozen Drink Maker (FS701BRANZ) goes on sale in Australia today, following strong demand in the US, where SharkNinja says the appliance sold out within two hours of launching.

Building on the original Ninja SLUSHi, the new model incorporates two separate 2.1-litre freezing vessels, allowing different drinks to be prepared and dispensed at the same time. Each vessel has a maximum liquid fill of 1.4 litres, while total vessel capacity is 4.2 litres.

The dual design means households could prepare a frozen cocktail on one side and a non-alcoholic slushie on the other. The machine can also combine the two frozen flavours into a single drink using Ninja’s SLUSHi Twist technology.

Ninja says the appliance can produce more than 10 servings across the two vessels, depending on serving size, making it particularly suited to entertaining and larger gatherings.

Dual SlushAssist Technology monitors the ingredients in each vessel and automatically adjusts the temperature to achieve the required consistency. The machine also provides notifications when additional water or sugar is needed.

Users can choose between 14 temperature settings to alter the texture of their drinks, with the machine supporting slushies, frappes, frozen cocktails and milkshakes, as well as recipes containing higher levels of alcohol.

Like the original SLUSHi, the Twist does not require ice. Instead, its built-in WhisperChill compressor freezes the liquid inside the machine, avoiding the dilution that can occur when drinks are blended with ice. Ninja also claims the new model can prepare frozen drinks faster than the original SLUSHi.

Cleaning has been addressed with a built-in rinse cycle, while the package includes two 2.1-litre vessels, dual dispensing handles, two auger systems, condensation catches and a three-piece drip tray.

The Ninja SLUSHi Twist Frozen Drink Maker will be available through SharkNinja’s Australian website and participating retailers from today.
