Samsung Rolls Out First 6K Odyssey Gaming Monitor In Australia
Samsung Australia has launched its 2026 monitor range, led by what it claims is the world’s first 6K gaming monitor, as the company pushes deeper into premium gaming and creator displays.
The new line-up includes three Odyssey G8 models, a more accessible Odyssey OLED G7, and a 40-inch ViewFinity S8 aimed at professional users.
The headline model is the 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS, a 6K gaming monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports a Dual Mode setting that can lift performance to 330Hz at 3K resolution. The monitor carries an RRP of $2,199.
Samsung has also introduced the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF, offering 5K resolution at 180Hz or QHD at up to 360Hz, priced at $1,299.

For OLED buyers, the Odyssey OLED G8 G80SH is available in 27-inch and 32-inch models, both with 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Pricing starts at $1,899 for the 27-inch model and $2,099 for the 32-inch version.
The new 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 G73SH brings 4K OLED gaming to a lower price point, with a 165Hz refresh rate, Dual Mode up to 330Hz in FHD, and a $1,499 RRP.
Samsung is also targeting creators and professionals with the 40-inch ViewFinity S8, a curved 5K2K WUHD monitor with Thunderbolt 5, 144Hz refresh rate and 140W charging. It is priced at $2,099.
The new monitors are available now nationally.
