Samsung Prepare New Quantum Dot Monitor For CES

Previously incorporated into the company’s gaming monitors, Samsung is now set to debut the new CH711 Quantum Dot curved monitor at this year’s CES.

According to Seoggi Kim, Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, “This year’s line-up of curved Quantum Dot monitors offers brilliant design, richer color and deeper contrast than ever before.”

“Today’s multimedia consumers, quite rightly, have high expectations and demand a truly cutting edge, totally immersive experience that realizes the full potential of whatever they are playing or watching,” Kim said.

Featuring an ultrawide 178-degree viewing angle, the CH711 promises vivid, visually stunning picture quality, regardless of the resolution of content itself.

The CH711 also features a number of ergonomic edges, with a 360-degree stand enabling easy adjustments and optimal positioning.

Samsung says that the CH711’s “sleek, sophisticated 360-degree design complements any desktop or décor.”

Available in 27-inch and 31.5-inch variations, Samsung indicates the CH711 Quantum Dot curved monitor will be commercially available sometime in early 2017.
