Samsung has announced an exclusive partnership with Activision for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, positioning it as the game’s official TV, monitor, sound bar and Wi-Fi speaker partner.

The collaboration will bring Samsung’s display and audio technologies closer to one of the world’s biggest game franchises, while giving gamers access to several Call of Duty-related experiences ahead of the game’s official release.

One of the key features of the partnership is the integration of HDR10+ Gaming into Modern Warfare 4. Samsung says the technology is designed to deliver more accurate colour and contrast, helping players experience visuals closer to the developers’ intended presentation.

The game will also officially support a 32:9 super-ultrawide aspect ratio. This is particularly relevant for owners of Samsung’s Odyssey G9 gaming monitors as it will allow them to take advantage of a wider in-game view.

For Samsung, the partnership represents another push to strengthen its position in the gaming display market by connecting its premium monitors and televisions with major gaming franchises.

The partnership also extends to Samsung’s Gaming Hub. Users will be able to watch Call of Duty: NEXT live through Samsung Gaming Hub on August 21 at 9:00 a.m. PST. Samsung will also promote the event directly through its Gaming Hub interface.

Selected Samsung users can also receive Beta Early Access codes through the Samsung Promotion app. The early-access beta is scheduled for August 21–25, followed by the Open Beta from August 28 to September 1.

Samsung will further showcase the new partnership at the upcoming Gamescom 2026 in Germany, in Cologne from August 26–30.

Visitors to Samsung’s booth at Gamescom will have the opportunity to play Modern Warfare 4 ahead of its official launch, with the game being demonstrated on Samsung Odyssey gaming monitors. Selected visitors will also have a chance to receive Vault Edition Battle.net game codes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled for official release later in the year, on October 23.
