Samsung New Zealand has leaked the August 24 release date for the Galaxy Note 9 ahead of the planned official reveal at their Unpacked media junket, which is occurring on the 9th of August.
The leak occurred when the New Zealand site prematurely sent an EDM for pre-orders.
Several leaks about the launch date have been published recently, but this is the first one that comes from inside Samsung making the date all but formally confirmed.
Trusted leaker Evan Blass posted the reveal on Twitter:

The source, as Evan predicted, has since been taken down.
With this information rumours about the Galaxy Note 9’s new position of the fingerprint sensor can be confirmed.
While Samsung isn’t taking pre-orders in New Zealand or anywhere else, you may pre-register to receive information on the ‘Next Galaxy’ right now or wait and watch the offical release at 1am AEST on August 10 on YouTube and their website.
