Samsung Hi-Res 2021 Monitor Series Pricing & Availability

Samsung Electronics has announced its 2021 line-up of high-resolution monitors, with the nine different screens offering vibrant picture and unique Intelligent Eye Care technology.

Samsung is offering nine monitors across the S6, S7 and S8 series with all models delivering more than one billion colours with a 178-degree wide-viewing angle, ideal for remote workstations or in the office.

All of the monitors – which are available from April 2021 – are built with Samsung’s Intelligent Eye Care from TUV Rheinland, the first in the industry to receive this recognition.

They also ship with Adaptive Picture eye care technology, which is designed to optimise picture quality for any viewing environment by automatically adjusting brightness and colour temperature in response to room conditions.

“As demand for higher resolution monitors continues to increase, Samsung continues to lead the market by unveiling new products that meet our customers’ needs.” Said Phil Gaut, Senior Director, Display and Memory Solutions, Samsung Australia.

“Our 2021 High-Resolution line-up delivers dazzling picture quality and provides enhanced performance, all the while ensuring user comfort with a streamlined design.”

Samsung’s flagship monitor is the S65U 34-inch monitor – priced at $999 – in Ultra-Wide Quad High Definition with the option of a 1000R curvature screen.

This premium curved screen technology is designed to simulate the contours of the human eye so the whole screen can be seen – further enhancing productivity with a 21:9 aspect ratio for optimal multi-tasking.

The S6 series is supported by USB-C connectivity, LAN connectivity (RJ45 compatibility) and USB Hub, transforms the monitor into a Docking Station Hub. Built-in Wake On Lan (WOL) functionality allows the connected computer to be powered remotely from another device.

Samsung’s other S6 monitors come in 32, 27 and 24-inch models and are priced at $629, $549 and $419 respectively.

In the S7 range, Samsung is offering 27 and 32-inch models with an ultra-slim stand, 178-degree wide-viewing angle panel and a vibrant colour gamut.

The 27-inch model is $479 while the 32-inch model is priced at $549.

Samsung also has three options in the S8 series, the 27-inch S8U for $629, the 27-inch standard S8 for $529 and the 32-inch screen for $629.

In addition to supporting UHD and over 1 billion colours, the S8 delivers a 99% sRGB colour gamut for users to enjoy more vivid content.

The S8U is capable of blazing fast 10Gbps data transmission through its USB-C type port, offers up to 90W charging and provides a variety of connectivity features including USB 3.0 and a USB hub.

All models are available from Samsung’s online store and participating CE retailers starting this month.
