An update to the Samsung Health App has confirmed the monikers of the new range and hinted at a possible imminent release.

The new range, as expected, will be called the Galaxy Watch 5 Series, and will be made up of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.

The Galaxy Watch 5 has been riddled with leaks and speculation, however, specifics are yet to be announced. A beta update for the Samsung health app for the Galaxy Watch 4 has added support for the new devices.

If precedent is anything to go by, this could mean a release as soon as a month away, as the health update that added support for the Watch 4 appeared a month before the device’s release.
