Razer’s BlackWidow Keyboard Goes Tournament Grade

Gaming accessory brand Razer have announced a new ‘Tournament Edition’ of their BlackWidow Chroma keyboard.

“Gamers rely on their gear to react and respond as fast as they do no matter the situation, from landing a headshot to combining ultimate abilities as a team,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, and CEO.

The new BlackWidow TE Chroma V2 features a compact, tenkeyless layout, egonomic wrist rest and your choice of Razer’s multi-award winning mechanical Green, Orange or Yellow switches.

Of course, the biggest silver lining here comes in the form of Razer’s new Instant Trigger Technology, said to cancel any delay between key actuations to provide rapid response from your keyboard to your system.

According to Tan, “Timing is critical. The BlackWidow TE Chroma V2’s Instant Trigger Technology works hand-in-hand with our Yellow switches, setting the bar for the industry’s fastest response rating on a keyboard with the ultimate combination of hardware and software.”

The BlackWidow TE Chroma V2 will roll out through both the usual retailers (JB Hi-Fi and EB Games) as well as Razer’s own online storefront at a local RRP of $239.95.
