Portable Solar-Powered TV Hits Oz Market

Canohm is introducing its portable, solar and battery-powered television set called Go TV to the Australian market, which is one of the first of its kind in the world.

Available in a black finish and complete with solar panel, battery pack and covered by a 12-month warranty, Go TV will be launched at Melbourne Leisurefest Show from October 3-6 and will have an RRP of $699.

Larger than a traditional tablet or smartphone, Go TV is available in a 32-inch screen size and accompanied by a dedicated tabletop stand.

It comes fully equipped with a four-panel solar design, which is accompanied with a matching battery pack, allowing full portability.

The battery can last up to 7 hours of use and takes about 3 hours to charge.

It’s “off-the-grid” design allow Go TV to be a fully multi-purpose product – great for camping, sporting matches, horse racing and many more outdoor activities.

For caravan users, Go TV’s onboard battery pack allows it to run completely independently from the vehicle’s onboard battery, freeing the energy stream to run lighting, water pumps and other appliances instead.

Users will also have the ability to connect multiple devices via HDMI, VGA and Mini AV, allowing them to enjoy gaming consoles, Blu-Ray players, laptops and cameras, on top of the free-to-air TV functionalities.
