PC Sales Continue To Drop From 2011 Peak
Recent research from Statista has revealed that annual PC sales have continued their downward slide, notching the sixth consecutive yearly decline.
The news comes as smartphone sales continue to climb, with some commentators asserting they could soon displace PC use.
Smartphone sales surpassed PC sales many years ago, following the dawn of downloadable apps and growing performance capabilities.
PC sales have notably dropped to a level lower than they were when Apple’s iPhone first launched.
