Panasonic Roll Out 20-Inch 4K Tablet

Panasonic are setting their sights on the high-end of the tablet market with their new 20-inch Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1, intended for CAD applications, technical services, healthcare, photography, pro video productions and high-end retail.
 
Boasting a slim 12.5mm form-factor with an eye-catching silver bezel, the Toughpad FZ-Y1 comes equipped with an ultra-sharp 4K IPS Alpha LCD display.
 
The tablet will provide the performance of a desktop with an Intel® Core™ i5-5300U vPro™ Processor, HDMI 2.0 input, Windows® 10 Pro and a 256 GB SSD.
 
Stuart Buxton, Panasonics Senior Product Manager, says “Globally, Panasonic Toughbook is celebrating its 20th anniversary and continues to be the market leader in rugged technology internationally and locally. This latest achievement underlines our ongoing commitment to delivering innovation in rugged mobile computing technology.”
 
He says the “tough-book” is equipped to meet the challenges of both retail environments and creative industries.
 
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 is priced at $5999RRP and is available now from Panasonic Toughbook distributors.
