Panasonic has refreshed its LUMIX S9 lineup with new silver-top colours and a limited Titanium Gold edition.

The compact LUMIX S9, weighing just 403 grams, now arrives in three new silver-accented colour options, joining the existing black/silver model.

The gold limited edition model, restricted to just 200 units worldwide, is priced at €1,399 (A$2,500) and currently sold exclusively through the Panasonic Shop in Europe.

The premium version features a three-layer gold paint process with brown leather accents, a matching titanium-and-leather rope strap and limited-edition LUMIX stickers.

Under the hood, the S9 remains a serious performer, with a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Panasonic’s latest image processor and Phase Detection Real-Time Recognition Autofocus.

The 5-axis Dual I.S.2 system delivers up to 6.5 stops of stabilisation, while Active I.S. ensures steady handheld video capture.

Video creators benefit from Panasonic’s MP4 Lite “Open Gate” recording mode for social-media-friendly aspect ratios, and seamless integration with the updated LUMIX Lab app.

The app allows wireless transfer of photos and videos, quick LUT uploads, and access to creative looks from popular creators.

A dedicated LUT button on the camera enables real-time colour tweaks, including opacity and film-style grain adjustments.

Availability for the Australian market has not yet been confirmed.
