Fresh information has emerged about the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a, just weeks before its expected unveiling on 5 March. Details circulating online outline the core hardware and configuration options for the standard model, while separate leaks have also referenced the higher-tier Phone 4a Pro, including anticipated pricing believed to start at around A$699 for the base variant.

Reports indicate that the standard Phone 4a will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. The same chipset recently appeared in Geekbench benchmark listings tied to the device, lending weight to claims about its internal hardware. If accurate, the processor choice positions the handset firmly within the upper mid-range segment.

Memory and storage combinations are expected to include 8GB or 12GB of RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. This range of configurations suggests Nothing is aiming to cater to both everyday users and those seeking additional performance headroom without stepping into flagship territory.

Battery capacity is tipped at 5,400mAh, with support for 50W wired charging. Such specifications would place the device competitively within its class, offering a balance between endurance and relatively fast top-ups. The handset is also rumoured to carry an IP65 rating, indicating resistance to dust ingress and low-pressure water jets.

Camera details point to a triple-lens arrangement on the rear. The primary sensor is said to feature a 50MP resolution, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom is also expected, a specification that would be notable in this category. On the front, a 32MP camera is rumoured for selfies and video calls.

Display specifications suggest the Phone 4a could sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The device is also likely to retain Nothing’s distinctive Glyph lighting system on the rear casing, reportedly incorporating 63 mini-LED elements to provide visual notifications and status indicators.

While Nothing has yet to confirm these details, the steady stream of leaks paints a clearer picture of what consumers might expect when the Phone 4a series is formally introduced.
