Nothing Headphone (1) Pro Leak Points To September 29 Launch And Triple-Driver Audio
Nothing is reportedly preparing a more premium pair of over-ear headphones, with the Headphone (1) Pro tipped to launch on September 29.
According to information cited by Dealabs, the new model is expected to cost €349 in Europe and US$399 in the US, which converts to roughly A$620 and A$555 respectively before local pricing, taxes and retailer adjustments.
The headphones are said to retain Nothing’s semi-transparent design language while adding an aluminium shell and scratch-resistant glass. An IP52 rating is also expected, offering limited protection against dust and light water exposure.
The biggest change appears to be inside the earcups. The Headphone (1) Pro is tipped to use a three-driver configuration, with separate drivers handling different parts of the frequency range.
The high-frequency section is reportedly based on xMEMS technology, which uses silicon-based solid-state microspeakers rather than a conventional moving-coil design.
Nothing is also said to be working with London’s Metropolis Studios on tuning. Hi-Res Audio certification and LDAC support are expected, along with a Flat EQ option and more detailed sound adjustment controls.

Noise cancellation could also receive a substantial upgrade, with reports pointing to 10 microphones supporting adaptive ANC and a transparency mode.
Connectivity is tipped to include Bluetooth 6.1 as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, while battery life is claimed to reach up to 60 hours. Fast charging support is also expected.
If accurate, the specifications would position the new model above Nothing’s current over-ear headphones and push the company further into the premium audio market.
Nothing has not yet officially confirmed the launch date, final specifications or Australian availability.
