New SmartHouse Magazine Goes Big On TVs, World Cup Screens And 2026 Display Wars
The latest issue of SmartHouse magazine is out now, with a timely focus on premium displays, supersized TVs and home entertainment gear as World Cup fever drives Australians toward bigger screens.
The new issue dives into the fast-moving 2026 TV market, where Samsung, Hisense, TCL, CHiQ, Sony, Loewe and BenQ are all fighting for attention with brighter panels, sharper processing and more immersive home cinema options.
At the centre of the issue is the new war over RGB LED TV technology. Samsung and Hisense are both pushing RGB as the future of premium television, but with very different approaches. Hisense is chasing brute-force brightness and colour impact through RGB MiniLED, while Samsung is positioning its Micro RGB TVs around precision, AI processing, motion handling and anti-glare performance.

The issue also looks at Samsung’s 2026 TV range, including its Vision AI Companion, which brings Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot into the TV experience. Samsung is pitching the feature as a way to stop viewers reaching for a second screen during movies, shows and live sport, with answers appearing directly on the TV.
There is also strong coverage of supersized screens, with Samsung pushing Micro RGB models up to 115 inches, while TCL is making noise with its SQD-Mini LED X11L flagship, which claims up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness and more than 20,000 dimming zones on the 98-inch model.
Hisense’s new RGB MiniLED range also gets attention, with the UR8 and UR9 models starting from $2,299 and designed to bring next-generation display technology to more Australian homes.

For World Cup viewing, SmartHouse also looks at BenQ’s 4K projector range, including models capable of throwing images up to 150 inches, with sports-focused motion smoothing and Google TV built in.
But it’s not all about TVs and projectors. The new issue also features six in-depth reviews including Motorola’s latest premium smartphone, Ecovacs robot vacuums and Logitech’s new gaming mouse technology, alongside coverage of Samsung’s 2026 audio strategy, JBL headphones and JB Hi-Fi Marketplace’s growing hi-fi range.
