MOVA has expanded its Australian smart home lineup with the launch of the Diver A10, an AI-powered robotic pool cleaner designed to automate one of the most time-consuming household chores.

The arrival of the Diver A10 comes as robotic cleaning technology continues to extend beyond vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers into outdoor maintenance. While many pool owners pay less attention to their pools during winter, experts warn that debris, algae and water quality still require regular management throughout the colder months.

The Diver A10 has been designed to clean pool floors, walls and waterlines with minimal manual intervention. Using onboard sensors and artificial intelligence, the robot maps its cleaning route, climbs pool walls, scrubs surfaces and collects debris before automatically navigating around the pool.

With more than 1.2 million residential swimming pools across Australia, robotic pool cleaners are becoming an increasingly attractive option for homeowners looking to reduce the time spent on maintenance.

The cleaner is equipped with EdgePulse AI Precision Tracking, which enables it to follow the contours of a pool more accurately, while PoolNavi Adaptive Path Planning helps optimise its movement to maximise cleaning coverage.

According to MOVA, the unit delivers suction of up to 22,700 litres per hour, allowing it to collect everything from leaves and sand to algae and fine debris. A 169Wh battery provides up to four hours of runtime, which the company says is sufficient to complete two full cleaning cycles for most Australian residential pools measuring between 40 and 50 square metres.

Featuring 240 minutes runtime

The Diver A10 also includes a 3.5-litre debris basket fitted with a fine filter. An optional ultra-fine micro-mesh filter is available separately for owners seeking higher filtration performance.

Users can control the robot through the MOVA Home app, allowing them to start, stop and schedule cleaning sessions remotely. The app also provides cleaning history, coverage reports and real-time status updates, while eight cleaning modes allow owners to tailor operation to suit different pool conditions.

Once cleaning has finished, the robot automatically parks itself beside the pool and drains excess water within seconds, making it easier to remove from the water.

Nancy Zhang, Country Manager for MOVA ANZ, said many homeowners overlook pool maintenance during winter despite water quality remaining important year-round.

“Your pool doesn’t stop needing attention just because the temperature drops,” Zhang said.

“It makes winter one of the best times to invest in a robotic pool cleaner, helping you stay on top of pool care without braving the cold weather.”

The Diver A10 has also received recognition with a 2026 iF Design Award, highlighting its industrial design and engineering.

The robotic pool cleaner carries a recommended retail price of $1,299, although it is currently available for $1,099 as part of end-of-financial-year promotions through retailers including Harvey Norman, Amazon, RMA and the MOVA online store.

As competition within Australia’s smart home sector continues to grow, manufacturers are increasingly applying artificial intelligence to automate everyday household tasks. The launch of the Diver A10 signals that pool maintenance is becoming the latest category to benefit from advances in robotics and connected home technology.
