Motorola Set To Launch New G6, G6+ And New Play Model

Motorola who has been forced into the bottom end of the smartphone market is set to release a flurry of new devices.

the brand that at one stage dominated in the smartphone market is now selling cheap Android smartphones, at Aldi, Big W and Woolworths.

This is despite the Lenovo owned brand having several smartphones, including a shatterproof model that should be on sale alongside top end models.

What is not known at this stage is which Motorola models are going to be released in Australia.

What we do know is that there is a Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus

Moto G6 Plus

Display: 5.93-inch Full HD 18:9 IPS

Processor: 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdraon 630

RAM/Storage options: 6GB/64GB or 4GB/32GB + microSD (256GB)

Rear / Front Cameras: 12-megapixel/5megapixel rear / 16-megapixel

Operating system: Android Oreo 8.0

Battery: 3,200mAh with Turbo charging

Security: Fingerprint sensor

The Moto G6 Plus will also have Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi.

ChannelNews understands that Motorola is set to crank up the marketing of Motorola smartphones in Australia via Amazon. In the USA Motorola has several models listed on Amazon that can be shipped to Australia.

Motorola said earlier this week in Europe that it plans to announce its first new devices of 2018 during April 2018.
