Motorola is set to expand its audio line-up with the launch of the Moto Buds Bass, a new pair of wireless earbuds tuned for bass-heavy listening.

The brand has quietly teased the model via a Flipkart microsite in India, with a full unveiling locked in for 27 August 2025.

As the name suggests, the Moto Buds Bass lean heavily on low-end performance, launching with the tagline ‘Super Bass’.

The buds will pack 12.4mm audio drivers, Bass Tuned EQ, and support for Hi-Res LDAC and LHDC codecs – a rare addition in this price bracket.

Spatial audio is also on board, hinting that Motorola is chasing both affordability and feature-rich performance.

While official pricing is yet to be confirmed, the positioning suggests these will sit in the same affordable tier as last year’s Moto Buds (The moto buds+ ANC currently retail for $249 on JB Hi-Fi).

The Moto Buds Bass will ship with Dynamic ANC capable of reducing up to 50 decibels of noise, along with a triple-microphone system powered by Motorola’s CrystalTalk AI for cleaner calls.

Other features include an IPX4 splash-resistant rating, app support via the Moto Buds companion app, and up to 42 hours of battery life with the charging case.

Design-wise, buyers will get a choice of three colours: Posy Green, Dark Shadow, and Blue Jewel.

The Moto Buds Bass will launch just a day before Motorola unveils the Moto Buds Loop, marking a busy period for the company’s audio push.

If priced right, the Bass could become a go-to option for Australians after wallet-friendly earbuds with extra thump in the low end.
