Hisense is offering Australia consumers a massive 85-inch ULED Smart TV with its Full Array Backlight technology for less than $5k.

Available now for an RRP of $4,299 from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys and Harvey Norman, the Hisense Series 7 ULED 85-inch TV boasts 4K video playback, Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos for 3D audio all run from the proprietary VIDAA U 3.0 operating system.

With built-in Alexa and Google Assistant functionality, the 85-inch Hisense TV can serve as the centrepiece of any smart home, with users able to take advantage of voice control technology.

The TV can also use Bluetooth to connect to headphones or compatible wireless speakers.

Featuring a Full Array Backlight, the ultra-dense LED backlight is divided into over 250 zones controlled by local dimming technology to produce ‘deep, dark blacks and dazzling brightness’ which Hisense claims can reflect ‘the real world on screen like never before’.

Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia, Andre Iannuzzi said Australian’s are looking for televisions that ‘are backed by powerful, innovative technologies, which work together to deliver striking contrast and seamless viewing’.

‘The new 85-inch Series 7 delivers on this and is jam-packed with benefits that consumers can enjoy’.

Boasting a ‘stylish aesthetic with black framing’ the big-screen option will ‘complement contemporary Australian living rooms,’ claims Andre.

With a 200Hz ‘smooth motion’ refresh rate, which will be suitable for both sports and gaming, perfect for the Australian household.
