Marantz Cranks Up Home Cinema with New AV 30 and AMP 30
Marantz has unveiled two new high-end home theatre components for 2026, expanding its growing range of separates with the AV 30 AV Preamplifier and AMP 30 Power Amplifier.
Both models will arrive in Australia this month, each priced at $6,500 RRP.
The new duo sits below the company’s flagship AV 10/AMP 10 and AV 20/AMP 20 combinations, but carries much of the same design philosophy.
The pair feature separate processing and amplification, cleaner power delivery and the ability to scale their systems over time.
The AV 30 (pictured below) is an 11.4-channel balanced AV preamplifier designed as the control centre of a premium home cinema.

The AV 30 supports speaker layouts up to 7.4.4 and decodes all the major immersive formats, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and AURO-3D. Video support is thoroughly modern, with seven 8K-capable HDMI inputs and three outputs, plus full support for current HDR standards.
Room correction is handled by Audyssey MultEQ XT32 out of the box, with optional upgrades to Dirac Live, including Bass Control and Active Room Treatment, for users who want more advanced tuning.
As with other recent Marantz components, the AV 30 also includes HEOS for multi-room streaming and network audio playback.
Marantz says the unit has been “Sound Master” tuned to deliver the brand’s signature warm, rich and detailed sound, and it is designed and built in Japan at the Shirakawa Audio Works factory.

Partnering it is the AMP 30, a slimline six-channel power amplifier rated at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or 400 watts into 4 ohms.
It supports bi-amping and bridge-tied load (BTL) modes, allowing three channels of 400W or six channels of 200W, depending on system needs.
Balanced XLR inputs are included to minimise noise, and a signature Marantz porthole meter on the front panel provides a real-time visual of output levels.
Together, the AV 30 and AMP 30 offer a more compact and modular path into Marantz’s high-end separates ecosystem.
