Marantz Celebrate 30 Years With New High-End Receiver & Stereos

High-end home theatre specialists Marantz have unveiled their 2016 lineup, including a pair of high-resolution audio ready stereo amplifiers, celebrating sixty years in the business.

Branded as their Series 14 Special Edition products, the company promise their PM-14S1 and SA-14S1 “[raise] the bar by a quantum leap and set new standards” for  home audio through support for high-end formats like FLAC, ALAC and DSD.

According to Marantz, the PM-14S1 is as beautiful on the inside as they are impressive on the outside.

“It is not all delicate detail and fascinating finesse that these two Special Edition units deliver.

“The PM-14S1 is equipped with the same capacitor reservoir as the original KI Pearl integrated amp, this optimizes the oversized Toroidal transformer. So when power is needed, it instantly and effortlessly delivers a tidal wave of sound, immersing the listener in audio fluidity. Strictly selected components, short cut plugs on inputs, mechanical improvements and many more undisclosed modifications achieve the best tonal balance in combination with a wide open soundstage and a music reproduction not hiding any detail.”

Meanwhile the “The SA-14S1 Special Edition is the perfect platform for reference-quality sound.”

It’ll include optical and coaxial digital input as well as support for high-definition audio streaming.

Also revealed was the SR5011 AV Receiver, which “comes with a full-size cabinet housing 7x 180 Watts and selected high grade components, paired with advanced wireless connectivity and total ease-of- use.”

With a feature list covering Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and 3D surround sound it’s as comprehensive as it is premium.2016_marantz_700x300

“Prepared for the future, the SR5011 features an advanced video section that’s fully compatible with the latest HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all 8 HDMI inputs. With 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through support on every input, the SR5011 is ready for the next generation of Blu-ray disc players, set-top boxes and other 4K Ultra HD sources. It can further upscale analogue and digital source material up to Full HD 1080p or even 4K Ultra HD for the ultimate viewing experience.”

It even include a smart ECO mode that’ll allow you to save power without compromising performance and integration with Marantz 2016 ACT Remote App, available on iOS and Android.
