Logitech To Launch New Combo Mouse & Keypad

Logitech is set to launch a new wireless keyboard and mouse combo, that also has a unique capability.

By using a new software feature Logitech has enabled the two devices to open up new functionality in each other.

Featuring a cushioned palm rest, the full-size keyboard in the MK850 Set has a full number pad, curved keys and adjustable tilt legs. It also has an adaptive multi-OS interface said to recognize hotkeys and shortcuts “in a familiar layout,” whether the consumer uses Windows, Mac, Chrome, Android or an iOS mobile device.

The device is set to go on sale in Australia shortly.

The battery life is listed at three years via two AAA batteries.

The six-button mouse, meanwhile, comes with a contoured design, hyper-fast scrolling, and a two-year battery life on a single AA battery.

Both can connect via Bluetooth or Logitech’s Unifying USB dongle, and both are compatible with DuoLink, a new feature in the Logitech Options software that opens up additional functionality. For example, consumers can assign different actions to the keyboard’s Fn keys that will add new functionality to the mouse buttons.

Both devices also feature Easy-Switch technology, enabling them to switch between three connected devices.

Australian pricing has not been announced yet.
