LG Expands Premium Signature Product Range With Intelligent Wine Cellar

LG has expanded on its premium Signature product line with the launch of an A$8999 intelligent wine cellar with motion sensors and an InstaView door.

The Signature Wine Cellar, which is slated for availability in Australia in Q1 2021, uses advanced technology to control temperature, humidity, light and even vibrations.

Described by LG product manager as the “epitome of wine storage”, the cellar is made of triple-glazed black mirrored glass and blocks UV light almost perfectly for optimal preservation.

It also has an advanced temperature control to ensure temperature is maintained within ±0.5℃ from how you set it and a linear compressor which minimises vibrations and noise.

Shipping with 700 W x 1793 H x 793 D dimensions, the 430L wine cellar can store up to 65 bottles at a time.

The wine cellar is equipped with a number of other fun features including a knock-to-wake InstaView door, an auto door which opens with a foot sensor and a convertible drawer which can be used to store meat, cheese or side dishes in fridge or freezer mode.

Inside, the shelves are fitted between a rubber divider which allows users to set different temperatures for each part of the wine cellar – so you can store whites, reds and sparkling at the same time.

LED light under each shelf brightens the view of what’s stored at every level, too.

The front of the cellar is also fitted with a glass touch LED display for easy control, including a voice assistant and lock.

LG says the Wine Cellar is set for local release in either January 2021 and has an estimated RRP of $8999. Specifications and pricing are as of October 2020, subject to change when product is available in market.

Also available in LG’s stylish Signature range is its OLED 8K television, the LG Signature TwinWash washing machine and LG Styler steam clothing care system.
