Leaked: New HTC “U11 Plus”
Following yesterday’s news, revealing HTC would release another flagship smartphone post its Google agreement, recent leaks have given that device a name – the ‘U11 Plus’.
Posted to the French Android website, Frandroid, the U11 Plus is tipped for release in November, notably six months after the original U11’s debut.
The flagship phone will boast an 18:9 aspect ratio, edge-to-edge 5.99″ and 2880 x 1440 resolution display (from JDI).
Leaks reveal the smartphone will be as high-end as the original U11 with specifications including; Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GBÂ storage.
Interestingly, the device’s camera is a slight downgrade, encompassing an 8MP front camera and 12MP rear camera setup.
The inclusion of dual-camera setup has not been indicated.

Word is, HTC’s U11 Plus will be announced in China, so the question remains whether the flagship device will land in Australia or other Western countries.
Other rumours state the forthcoming Chinese launch will unveil a HTC-branded Android One device (codename: HTC Life).
