Logitech could soon enter the growing market for ultra-portable computer accessories, with leaked images revealing what appears to be a compact wireless mouse capable of folding shut for travel.

Marketing material shared online by WinFuture suggests the unreleased device has been designed for people who regularly work on the move and want an alternative to relying solely on laptop trackpads. According to the leaked promotional content, the mouse is claimed to reduce muscle strain by 22 per cent compared with prolonged trackpad use.

The design takes inspiration from earlier portable mice such as Microsoft’s Surface Arc Mouse and Lenovo’s Yoga Mouse, both of which use curved shapes that flatten when stored. Logitech’s approach appears slightly different, with the new model folding inward like a clamshell rather than simply collapsing flat.

Although technical specifications and dimensions have not yet been confirmed, leaked images suggest the mouse becomes small enough to fit comfortably into a pocket when folded. Promotional shots also show the device appearing noticeably smaller than a user’s hand when closed.

Instead of including a traditional scroll wheel, the mouse is expected to feature a touch-sensitive scrolling strip positioned between the left and right buttons. WinFuture reports the feature is referred to internally as “Adaptive Touch Scrolling” and functions through swipe gestures on a miniature trackpad surface.

A small green light shown in the leaked renders is believed to indicate wireless connectivity status. Reports also suggest the mouse will support Bluetooth pairing with up to three different devices, allowing users to switch between multiple computers or tablets more easily.

The foldable design is also reportedly intended to support both left-handed and right-handed use without requiring separate models.

Leaked marketing images additionally suggest Logitech intends the mouse to complement its existing Keys-to-Go 2 portable keyboard, with promotional material claiming the devices “match perfectly” as a travel-focused setup.

Only a grey version of the mouse has appeared in the leaks so far, although speculation suggests Logitech may eventually release additional colour options similar to the white and lilac finishes already available for the Keys-to-Go 2 keyboard.

Logitech has not officially announced the device, and pricing or release timing remain unknown.
