EXCLUSIVE:Leading PC Retailer Placed Into Administration
Leading PC retailer Mwave has been placed into administration.
The Company that is well-renowned amongst PC enthusiasts and the gaming community was placed into administration last week; at this stage it’s not known the extent of their debt. 
The Company that built computers is believed to have become a victim of a switch by gamers to buying their gaming PCs from the likes of JB Hi Fi or direct from the Dell owned Alienware, or Lenovo with their Legion range of gaming machines.
One of the biggest brands apart from their own machines ranged by the Western Sydney based retailer was MSI.

The Company had also built an extensive online business.
Antony Resnick and Henry Ho Leung Kwok of DVT Group in Parramatta NSW have been appointed to liquidate the Company.
The Company was controlled by Essel Pty Ltd whose key director is Victor Wei Lee, the managing director of the Company is listed as Mr. Phil Montrone.
Chief Technology Officer was Otto Xu while Ari Klinger is listed as an Mwave board member, he is believed to have been an investor in the Company.
Among the brands listed on their web site are ASUS, MSI, Beyerdynamic, Intel, Microsoft, Geforce and Thermaltake.
At this stage it’s not known whether the Company had credit with B2b distributors in Australia or whether they were operating on a cash only basis due to their online site being predominantly build to order PC’s.
