Epson has unveiled its latest lineup of PowerLite L-Series portable projectors, now featuring Apple AirPlay compatibility across 10 new models.

The update, announced at last week’s InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, Florida, is aimed at improving content sharing in education and corporate environments by enabling wireless streaming from Apple devices.

The new fixed lens models deliver up to 8,000 lumens of brightness using Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD technology.

They support resolutions up to Full HD WUXGA and include 4K Enhancement Technology, allowing for sharp, large-scale visuals – up to 500 inches in size.

The lineup also introduces a broader range of throw ratios, including newly added short throw options with optical zoom, giving installers greater flexibility in settings like classrooms, meeting rooms and floor and rear projection setups.

Apple AirPlay support is available in models such as the PowerLite L690U, L790U, and L890U, among others, and will also be available via firmware updates for select existing units. The feature allows users to stream content directly from iPhones, iPads, or Macs without additional hardware or apps.

While wireless content sharing is a highlight, the new PowerLite projectors also offer advanced setup tools. These include geometric correction, wide lens shift, and compatibility with Epson’s PixAlign camera for multi-projector configurations like blending and stacking.

Built-in NFC and remote management capabilities via Epson’s Projector Management Connected app further enhance deployment and monitoring for IT teams.

The models are available now through Epson’s authorised resellers. Education customers can also access special pricing via the Brighter Futures program, which includes dedicated support for schools.

While Epson’s move isn’t revolutionary, the AirPlay integration and expanded installation options signal a steady push toward smarter, more user-friendly AV tech in both classrooms and corporate settings.
