Klipsch Celebrate 70 Years With Heritage Speakers

Tech-driven audio company Klipsch are celebrating 70 years in business in 2016 by offering up a limited run of it’s venerable Cornwall and La Scala speakers.

Klipsch will meticulously handcraft 70 pairs of each model, incorporating exotic Australian Walnut wood veneer, a unique silver luster grille cloth, special edition logos, and a signature 70th Anniversary plaque identifying its numbered sequence in the series.

The new Cornwall, dubbed the Cornwall III, features a three-way design using horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and treble and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for the low frequencies.

The company say it’ll deliver the full-range bass response of the Klipschorn with sensitivity and output approaching the fully horn-loaded models.

Meanwhile the new La Scala promises to bring the most subtle musical details to life, always delivering the legendary Klipsch sound with clarity and ease. It’s been tuned to deliver 105 decibels of sound pressure on a single watt, ensuring both quality and efficiency.
