JB Hi-Fi Slashes $400 Off Pixel 2 XL

JB Hi-Fi has slashed a notable $400 off the Pixel 2 XL, just a few weeks shy of Google’s October hardware event – dropping the price from $1,399 to $999.

By comparison, Google’s local e-store is still selling the device for the regular RRP.

The Pixel 2 XL has received notable attention in recent days, with some commentators claiming it offers similar camera quality to Apple’s new iPhones.

The device is set to receive another two years of security updates, and a new platform update sometime soon.

The 6-inch handset incorporates a 2880×1440 resolution pOLED display, with 4GB RAM and 64GB of on-board storage, plus Snapdragon 835 processor.

Google is tipped to unveil its new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphone in early October, will an abundance of online leaks leaving little mystery.
