Jabra Launches “PanaCast” Video Conferencing Solution

Jabra has unveiled “Jabra PanaCast”, its first smart 180-degree panoramic 4K plug-and-play video solution, available from August 2019.

The Jabra PanaCast is designed to improve office and online meetings, using intelligent AI and 4th generation footage stitching for wall-to-wall coverage.

Featuring three 13MP cameras which stitch captured footage together into one seamless feed via the built-in Jabra PanaCast Vision Processor.

The multi-camera array offers a 180-degree viewing capability with real-time movement detection — including the ability to count the number of people in a room (up to 12m away) — and learning via the Panacast’s API for Windows OS.

PanaCast can be integrated with Jabra’s conference speakerphone series “Speak” which boast an omnidirectional microphone and HD Voice, providing 360-degree coverage.

The new video solution is compatible with popular cloud-based solutions including Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Slack, Google Hangouts, and more.

Available from August 2019. Local pricing will be disclosed closer to the date. More information here.
