Ikea Accidentally Confirms A New Sonos-Powered Symfonisk Smart Speaker

These days it seems that most product leaks are the result of retails inadvertently putting up a product description before the company has confirmed the existence of such a product.

This is the case with a new Sonos-powered smart speaker in the Symfonisk product line, which was accidentally confirmed by an IKEA product page.

The product is a Symfonisk “picture frame with Wi-Fi speaker”, priced at US$199. The page was quickly deleted.

“You can choose to hang it on its own on the wall as an eye-catcher, match it with your other pictures on a wall, place it on the floor, or lean it against a wall,” Ikea’s site said.

The speaker will also have AirPlay 2, and you’ll be able to stereo-pair the speaker with another Sonos-powered speaker.
