Samsung has revealed its latest Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, featuring a new washer with 65% energy efficiency, marking a significant improvement over its previous generation. These second-generation models promise smarter, more sustainable laundry solutions for modern households.

“With the new A-65% washer, Samsung has pushed the boundaries of convenience and energy efficiency once again,” said Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of the R&D Team for the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “With AI-driven features like the new AI Wash+, innovative hardware upgrades, and a wider choice of design options, we aim to deliver personalised experiences that reduce effort and maximise satisfaction.”

The new models build on the 55% energy-efficient Bespoke AI Washer introduced at IFA 2024, exceeding the minimum energy efficiency standards for a Class A rating in Europe — a benchmark that Australia is actively working to align with. While not yet available in Australia, Samsung says the increased efficiency is achieved through enhanced motor performance, improved water circulation, and refined washing algorithms.

The washer features AI Wash+4, which intelligently adapts to a broader range of fabrics, including outdoor wear and denim. By detecting weight, soiling level, and fabric type, AI Wash+ automatically adjusts water, detergent, and wash time to deliver optimal results. The model also includes Samsung’s 7-inch intuitive touchscreen for a more interactive user experience and seamless integration with SmartThings.

Complementing the washer is a matching dryer with AI Dry+, which detects fabric type and moisture level to optimize drying time and efficiency.

Samsung has not yet announced availability for the new Bespoke AI Washer and dryer in the Australian market.
