Hisense Introduces G7 Ultra Gaming Monitor
Hisense has expanded its gaming monitor lineup with the new G7 Ultra, a 27-inch display built for serious players.
The monitor combines 4K resolution, a 160Hz refresh rate and Mini-LED backlighting, delivering strong contrast and smooth performance.
Screen tearing — where fast-moving visuals split into mismatched fragments because the graphics card and monitor refresh at different speeds — is minimised through AMD FreeSync Premium support.
A 1ms response time is also designed to keep fast-paced titles sharp.
The screen uses a custom ‘Obsidian Screen’ layer that reduces glare to 1.8% and enhances viewing clarity in bright rooms.
Connectivity includes USB-C with power delivery, DisplayPort and HDMI, along with additional USB ports and a headphone jack.

Hisense is keen to compete in the premium gaming monitor space
The USB-C port also allows for device charging, and the stand offers full ergonomic adjustments, as well as VESA mount compatibility.
Colour reproduction is another highlight, with wide coverage across sRGB and DCI-P3 gamuts, as well as quantum dot enhancement to boost vibrancy.
The earlier 27G7K-Pro model is rated at VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification with peak brightness around 1,000 nits.
GIZMOCHINA is reporting that its successor achieves a peak brightness of 2000 nits and carries HDR1400 certification.
The monitor’s combination of Mini-LED backlighting and fast refresh should appeal to competitive gamers and content creators alike.
The new Hisense monitor will be competing against premium models from ASUS ROG, Acer Predator, and Samsung’s Odyssey line, marking an ambitious push by Hisense into the high-end gaming display market.
Hisense has confirmed availability in China, and it appears the launch in that country will take place on September 26.
