Google Pixel Watch To Boast Beefy Battery

Excitement surrounding the Google Pixel smartwatch has been building recently, following several leaks. Now, according to rumors compiled by GizmoChina, the device will have a 300mAh battery and cellular connectivity.

As a result of the big battery, people are speculating that a full charge would last between 24 to 40 hours, based on models of similar battery size such as the Galaxy Watch 4.

Details on the new watch are still scarce, with photos of the device only being leaked after it was left at a restaurant. It did not load past the startup screen, indicating a lack of OS.

However, previous leaks courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks) say that the Pixel will use Wear OS 3.1, and have features geared towards health and fitness such as ECG monitoring. He also speculates a release date as soon as May 11th in conjunction with Google’s 2022 I/O Conference. However, he has also mentioned July and October.
