Foxtel Hires New Chief Customer, Marketing & Revenue Officer As Kieren Cooney Departs For TPG

Foxtel has hired Hilary Perchard as the new Chief Customer, Marketing & Revenue officer after his predecessor Kieren Cooney departed to TPG Telecom.

Perchard, who has worked at California-based entertainment company Activision Blizzard as Chief Revenue Officer since 2019, will report to Foxtel CEO Patrick Delaney in his new role.

Perchard has also held senior positions at Fox Networks Group in the US and Sky UK and appears to be relocating from Los Angeles for the role.

Delaney says Perchard’s appointment will help Foxtel build on progress it has made maintaining its position as Australia’s premium subscription television service.

“Hilary’s appointment provides an opportunity to build on the momentum we have created with a fresh, international perspective that continues to deliver our loyal, premium customers the best of TV and on-demand, all in one place,” Delany said.

“Foxtel remains our core business within what is now a much larger, more diversified media company. This includes our rapidly growing Kayo and Binge streaming services and our successful advertising business, Foxtel Media.

“Hilary will have end-to-end responsibility for all customer interactions, including Foxtel residential and commercial sales, customer service, loyalty, creative services, marketing and publicity.”

Outgoing Foxtel executive Cooney will assume the role of group executive consumer at TPG, reporting to the CEO and joining the executive team.
