Foxtel And News Corp Offer ‘Full On Footy Pass’

Ahead of the upcoming launch of the NRL and AFL seasons, Foxtel and News Corp are offering a deal that combines sports video streaming and a digital subscription to a News Corp masthead.

The $10 per week ‘Full on Footy Pass’ features streaming of every NRL and AFL match live through Fox Sports, additional Sports and Lifestyle channels including ESPN and beIN Sport, plus a digital subscription to either The Daily Telegraph, The Courier Mail, Herald Sun, or The Advertiser.

A digital subscription to these papers would usually cost $5 per week and, when purchased normally, the Lifestyle and Sports packages from Foxtel Play would cost $39 billed monthly, or $9 a week.

“The Full on Footy Pass offer brings together two of Australia’s leading media companies to provide an unbeatable host of sport and lifestyle programing alongside some of Australia’s best print news available anywhere,” said Deanne Weir, Foxtel’s Managing Director.

“This bundle offers incredible value to sports lovers everywhere and brings with it our best lifestyle programming to stream live and on demand anytime, anyplace via Foxtel Play,” Weir added.

While the offer may present savings for customers interested in both Foxtel Play and a News Corp digital subscription, the Foxtel Play subscription is limited only to the first 12 months, when the News Corp subscription will revert to $28 every 4 weeks.
