Focal Ditches Cables with $105K Diva Mezza Utopia Loudspeakers
Focal has introduced the Diva Mezza Utopia, a A$110,000 wireless loudspeaker system that challenges the conventional concept of traditional hi-fi systems.
Designed for users who don’t want a rack full of gear, the active floorstanders are powered by Naim Class A/B amplification and deliver 500 watts per speaker, all without a single speaker cable.
The Diva Mezza Utopia features a three-way acoustic design, including four 8-inch ‘W’ cone woofers, a beryllium M-profile tweeter, and advanced tech like Ultra Wideband (UWB) streaming for uncompressed 96kHz/24-bit audio between the speakers.
Wired Hi-Res Link is also available, supporting up to 192kHz/24-bit playback.

Smart calibration comes via Focal’s ADAPT system, which uses room tuning and user preferences to fine-tune the sound. Meanwhile, Intelligent Dynamics Clocking (IDC) keeps left and right speakers perfectly in sync.
Running on the Naim Pulse Platform, the Diva Mezza Utopia supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Bluetooth 5.3, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and more. It’s also multiroom-ready and compatible with home automation systems like Control4 and Crestron.
