Final Fantasy XIV Comes To Xbox

Final Fantasy XIV is finally on its way to Xbox, with Microsoft Gaming CEO and Game Director, Phil Spencer and Naoki Yoshida announcing the news.

“We want to bring the Xbox community and your warriors of light together, in a way that is safe, secure, engaging, and, above all, fun.”

Since the launch in 2013, the game was only available on PC and PlayStation, and one of the biggest requests from fans was to bring the game to Xbox.

Now, it will arrive on Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles, with faster loading times, and 4K resolution for Series X.

Fans also won’t have to wait very long as the Xbox version is expected to launch by mid next year, and an open beta taking place around the launch of patch 6.5. Fans have been encouraged to sign up for the beta.
