EXCLUSIVE:Delonghi To Open Experience Centre As Profits & Revenues Rise

Delonghi Australia is set to open a new experience centre in Australia next year and while the Company will not take orders directly they will promote a new online store according to insiders.

The experience store that will be located in Alexandra in Sydney, allows the Company who sells Delonghi, Braun and Kenwood appliances to train both retailers while educating consumers on a new generation of their appliances.

The Company has not said whether they are set to bring back their Ariete appliances with one distributor recently offering the Italoance appliance range to retailers.

In 2017 Delonghi delivered a profit of $2.0M up from $1.6M in the prior year. They had revenues of $161,389,999, this was up from $155,216,000 in the prior year.

Currently designers are working on a “unique” floorplan and layout for the new store according to Delonghi insiders.

Recently the Company completed a 10-day roadshow across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia to show off their new fully automatic coffee machines that are under pressure from capsule machines to more than 600 retailers.

Also shown off was new MultiOven and MultiGrill benchtop cooking appliances. Earlier this year Paul Accornero was appointed as a director of the local operation after Silvano Gatto resigned.
