Epson Brings Wide Format To Home Printing

Epson has recently launched a wide format printer for the home office, the Expression Photo HD XP-15000, printing up to 13″x19″ borderless prints.

Epson says the new wide format leverages six-colour Claria Photo HD inks with all-new red and grey inks for an ultra-wide colour gamut and enhanced black and white prints.

The Expression Photo HD XP-15000 features a large, 50-sheet rear specialty media tray, the Expression Photo HD XP-15000 makes printing projects easy, even on cardstock1, and touts an array of convenient printing features ideal for creative individuals and photo enthusiasts.

Bruce Bealby, general manager – sales and marketing at Epson Australia Consumer Division says, “Often it’s the smaller details and elements in a photo that instantly bring back the most vivid memories. The Expression Photo HD XP-15000 is designed to print high-quality, wide-format, borderless photos so that no detail goes unnoticed. Adding the flexibility to print on a range of specialty media, the XP-15000 allows consumers to print photos with added texture and dimensions, quickly and efficiently at home.”

Epson says the compact Expression Photo HD XP-15000 is 30 per cent smaller than its predecessor, the award-winning Artisan 1430. The printer has media handling capabilities to print on a host of popular borderless sizes, including 4”x6”, 12”x12”, and 13”x19”, the Expression Photo HD XP-15000 is ideal for a range of photo projects. The rear speciality media tray accommodates cardstock and a variety of paper finishes in borderless sizes from 4”x6” to 13”x19.” In addition, auto two-sided printing, a 200-sheet front tray and convenient wireless connectivity allow for easy document printing.
