Elon Musk has dumped another A$9.9 billion of shares in Tesla, despite claiming he wasn’t going to sell any more stock in his own EV company.

Musk has now shed A$46 billion in Tesla stock since last November, after first polling Twitter users as to whether he should sell a portion of his holdings, then shedding 10 per cent of his stock.

He then sold A$11.5 billion worth of shares in April, in order to partially fund his now-muted Twitter buyout, claiming he had no further plans to sell.

Musk still holds 155,039,144 Tesla shares, which are worth $189.25 billion as of the close of Wall Street yesterday.

Musk once claimed he would be “the last one to sell Tesla shares.”
