Elipson Targets All-In-One Audio Market With HDMI ARC-Equipped Active Speakers
French hi-fi brand Elipson has expanded its Prestige Facet II range with a new active bookshelf speaker system designed to simplify modern home audio setups, combining TV, streaming and vinyl playback into a single solution.
The Prestige Facet II 6 Active BT introduces a broad set of connectivity options rarely seen in traditional bookshelf speakers, including HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD and a moving magnet phono stage.
The inclusion of HDMI ARC positions the speakers as a direct alternative to soundbars, allowing users to connect them straight to a TV for improved stereo sound.

Each speaker features a 25mm tweeter and a 5-inch mid/bass driver, powered by 50W of Class D amplification per channel. Elipson says the system has been engineered to deliver a “complete, high-performance audio solution” suitable for living rooms, workspaces and multimedia environments.
The product’s versatility is a key selling point. Alongside HDMI, the speakers include RCA, optical and coaxial inputs, as well as USB-C with 24-bit/192kHz support for hi-res playback from computers. The built-in phono stage also enables direct turntable connection without the need for additional amplification hardware – an increasingly popular feature as vinyl continues its resurgence.

A subwoofer output is included for users looking to expand low-end performance and the system ships with a remote control. The speakers are offered in three finishes: black matt, white matt and black/walnut.
Australian pricing has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to land at approximately A$1,100 to A$1,300 per pair. This sits it above entry-level powered speaker options, but its larger cabinet size and broader feature set suggest a more premium positioning focused on sound quality and system consolidation.
The speakers are expected to be available from late March.
