Early Leaks Hint At Radical Camera Overhaul For Oppo Find X10 Range
Whispers about Oppo’s next flagship phones are starting to surface well ahead of schedule, with attention already shifting beyond the forthcoming Find X9 models to what could arrive with the Find X10 family. Although launch timing is still some distance away, recent leaks point to significant changes, particularly when it comes to photography.
Posting on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station claims Oppo is experimenting with an ambitious camera system built around two 200-megapixel sensors. The setup under consideration reportedly combines a 200-megapixel main camera with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, each using a large 1/1.3-inch sensor. If this configuration makes it into a final product, it would represent the biggest telephoto sensor Oppo has tested in its Find series to date.
The same source suggests Oppo is trialling this camera arrangement across multiple versions of the Find X10, including the standard and Pro models. There is also talk that the company could expand the line-up with a Pro Max variant for the first time, moving beyond its usual two-model approach. An Ultra version is said to be planned for a later release, following Oppo’s recent pattern of staggered flagship launches.
Some of this hardware may appear sooner than expected. Similar camera technology is rumoured to debut on the Find X9s Pro, which is tipped for release in China in the first half of the year. That phone is expected to use dual 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensors, signalling a wider push by Oppo towards ultra-high-resolution imaging across its premium devices.

Under the hood, the Find X10 range is expected to be among the first smartphones to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 chipset. Built using a 2nm manufacturing process, the platform is said to deliver improved performance while consuming less power than its predecessors. Early reports suggest gains not just in raw speed but also in efficiency during sustained workloads.
For now, details around displays, batteries and charging technology remain scarce. Even so, the early information points to the Find X10 series being positioned as a meaningful step forward from the Find X9 line, with cameras likely to be its headline feature. With months still to go before any official unveiling, more clarity is expected as development continues.
