Dropbox Files For IPO

Cloud storage giant Dropbox has filed for an IPO according to sources close to the company.

The company – worth US$10bn – will have Goldman Sachs Group and JPMorgan Chase leading the potential listing, according to Bloomberg. The company is hoping to file in the first half of the year.

It is also in communication with other banks to fill additional roles on the IPO sources told Bloomberg.

Dropbox has not made a comment yet as the filing has been private. Dropbox has more than 500 million users in more than 200 countries.
