Panasonic Hires New UC Boss

Panasonic Hires New UC BossTed Cofie will oversee sales and marketing of UC telephony solutions including SIP and PBX, with a focus on supply chain management, and strategic business planning.

Cofie said: “I’m looking forward to working closely with the BSG team and our business partners to deliver B2B telephony solutions that meet the demands of modern business. I’m keen to understand the challenges of our market and build a competitive edge for Panasonic.”
He will also be spending time with end users supporting the channel, and tailoring solutions to business requirements.
Cofie has over 15 years of sales and management experience, with strengths in project management, and developing sales teams.  
He has previously worked at Canon Australia, as Sales Manager, Commercial, Project Manager for global print solutions provider Fulton Francis and Regional Sales Manager for British retailer, Shop Direct Group. 
Jason Coleman, Director, Business Systems Group, said Unified Communications offers great opportunity for Panasonic, and Ted will be working closely with key distributors and resellers to continue its success in the market. 
“Ted comes to us with a wealth of experience from sales and consulting backgrounds, most recently with Canon, and his skills and drive for success are a very welcome addition to the leadership of BSG.”
