Infamous tech leak blogger Evan Blass claims to know the release of Apple’s next flagship device.
He told his 225,000 followers on Twitter to expect the launch of the iPhone 7 to take place in the “week of September 12th.”
“Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.”
Though Blass has successfully predicted details about numerous smartphones in the past, it’s also worth noting that September is a pretty safe bet for the device’s launch given Apple’s previous production cycles.
The iPhone 7 is expected to bring a better processor and battery life to the table, while removing the headphone jack and, potentially, the home button from the equation.
It’s expected to be formally unveiled in early September.
